Dr Daniel T Carey GMC Number: 3423208
MB BCh BAO DCH DGM MRCGP (Dublin 1988)
Dr Carey trained in Dublin from 1982-88. After qualifying he moved back to Northern Ireland and worked for several years. He moved to Scotland in 1991, working in Dundee before joining the practice in 1993. Since graduation he has continued professional development doing diplomas in Child Health, Geriatric Medicine and Diabetes. He is a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners. He has maintained and developed an interest in the training of both under- and post-graduates, being an approved trainer. He remains a generalist with a special interest in Diabetes and training.
Dr Julia R Hamilton GMC Number: 3468108

Dr Hamilton was born in Northern Ireland and studied Medicine at Queens University, Belfast. She was a former registrar with the practice in 1993 and joined as a partner in 1994. Dr Hamilton is the clinical lead in the practice for hypertension, chronic kidney disease and prescribing. Her special interests are family planning (including coil and implanon insertions), womens health and acupuncture. Along with Dr Moloney she is involved supervising fourth and final year medical students in the practice. She is married with 2 children and enjoys several outdoor activities including jogging and skiing.
Dr Noirin A Moloney GMC Number: 3269282
MB BCh BAO DCH DPC MRCGP (Dublin 1988)
Dr Moloney graduated from University College Dublin in 1988. After working in hospitals in Ireland for 3 years, she moved to Scotland to complete her training in General Practice. She has diplomas in Child Health and Palliative care. She also practices acupuncture. Outside of work she enjoys keeping fit and spending time with her family.
Dr Steven A Elliott GMC Number: 4123695

Dr Elliott graduated from the University in Dundee in 1994. He did the majority of his GP speciality training in Perth Royal Infirmary and was previously a trainee with the practice. After a year as a rural GP in Western Australia he joined the practice as a full time partner in 2000. Dr Elliott has a clinical interest in cardiovascular medicine and carries out minor surgical procedures in the practice. His other interest is GP education and along with Dr Carey is a GP trainer being responsible for the GP registrars that we have working in the practice each year. He has also recently been appointed an examiner for The Royal College of General Practitioners. Dr Elliott is a medical officer for Perth Race Course and a keen mountaineer.
Dr Daniel N Smith GMC Number: 6074122
MB ChB MRCGP (Dundee 2003)
Dr Smith grew up in the North-East of England before moving to Scotland to study Medicine at Dundee University. He graduated in 2003 and went on to work in Ninewells Hospital before undertaking his speciality training in the Dundee Hospitals of Ninewells, Royal Victoria and Carseview. He was a registrar with the practice in 2006-07 before joining as a full time partner in February 2008. Dr Smith is the clinical lead in the practice for Asthma and COPD. He has a special interest in general medicine and the use of technology in General Practice.
Dr Jane Crichton GMC Number: 4510226
MB ChB MRCGP DCH DRCOG (Aberdeen 1998)
Dr Crichton studied Medicine in Aberdeen. She moved to Perth in 2000 and worked in various departments in Perth Royal Infirmary. A former registrar with the practice in 2003, she joined as a full time partner in August 2008. She has special interests in womans health, (including fitting and removal of coils and contraceptive implants) and travel health.

Dr Caroline E Bates GMC Number: 6156956
MB ChB (Dundee 2007), BSc Hons Pharmacology
Dr Bates studied Medicine at Dundee University and then worked in Tayside, including Ninewells Hospital and Perth Royal Infirmary for 2 years. She is currently in her first year of GP speciality training (ST1), spending 6 months in the practice initially before returning to hospital medicine for 18 months. Dr Bates will then return to the practice again for a year to complete her General Practice training.
